• ​​​Deavours Hall, Director of GCG, graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in English, M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, and a Master's in Social Work and Ph.D. in Education from the University of Georgia. Deavours also holds an Advanced Certificate in College Advising from the Teachers College of Columbia University.

• Consultant Anna Pless Peel is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Director of College Counseling at The New School in Atlanta, and a consultant for Grounded College Guidance.​

• Deavours lives in Asheville, North Carolina, and works with students across the South and the East Coast, both in person and on Zoom. Louie the beagle is my right-hand man!
